I have started making this healthy smoothie drink in the morning. It really does taste good, even the kids make it for themselves now. It will fill you up until lunch time. When you start the day off making a healthy breakfast choice, you will be more likely to continue on that path through out the rest of the day. And even if you don't, well at least you had a nutritious breakfast.
--MCMC BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE :
---1/4 cup almond milk
--add to a blender-thawed frozen berries (just put fruit in a small bowl with hot water for a few minutes, then drain).
--1 tbs natural almond ( or natural peanut) butter
--mix. Serves 1
I found a small blender for 1 with a lid in shop-rite that I use for smoothies. Makes the drink portable for busy mornings. Even the kids like this filling breakfast treat. It feels good to start your day with healthy foods and makes a good foundation for the rest of the day.Your body will thank you.
