When it comes to everyday eating choices, just remember you are in charge. You can have it all, just not all at once. 

A good trick when you are dining out, is to decide when you get there ,what you would like to have. Make a choice that fits your day. Maybe you know you want the dessert, so skip the bread and have the dessert or even better share the dessert.

Next time, have the bread and and glass of wine, but skip the dessert. See you are in charge. Make a choice for this meal, then you get to select a different choice next time.

I have started making this healthy smoothie drink in the morning. It really does taste good, even the kids make it for themselves now. It will fill you up until lunch time. When you start the day off making a healthy breakfast choice, you will be more likely to continue on that path through out the rest of the day. And even if you don't, well at least you had a nutritious breakfast.



--MCMC BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE :

---1/4 cup almond milk
--add to a blender-thawed frozen berries (just put fruit in a small bowl with hot water for a few minutes, then drain).
